Our Services
Three Services. Each One Complete.
Trademark prosecution, copyright advisory, and brand monitoring — handled as distinct engagements with fixed scope and transparent fees.

How We Approach Each Engagement
Every engagement at bencharod begins with a conversation. Before any filing is prepared or any monitoring service is set up, we discuss your business, what you have created or built, and where you intend to use it. That context shapes every decision that follows.
We then produce a written scope summary — a clear record of what the engagement covers, what it does not cover, and what the fee is. Work begins only after that summary is accepted. Expanding the scope requires a new written agreement.
Throughout each engagement, you receive regular updates in plain English. There are no status reports that require a legal dictionary to parse. If a development requires a decision from you, we explain the options and their implications before asking you to choose.
Initial Consultation
Brief discussion of your matter before any commitment is made
Written Scope
Clear record of work, fees, and exclusions agreed in writing
Considered Execution
Each step handled by a named practitioner, not delegated without notice
Regular Updates
Plain-language summaries at each significant stage — automatically, without chasing
Trademark Filing & Prosecution
Considered preparation and filing of trademark applications with the Department of Intellectual Property, including class selection, specification drafting, and search work to identify earlier marks that may complicate registration. We respond to office actions, manage opposition proceedings where they arise, and renew registered marks at the appropriate intervals. Suited to brand owners building a long-term presence in Thailand and ASEAN markets.
- Prior-mark search included before any application is filed
- Nice Classification guidance and class selection discussion
- Specification drafting tailored to your actual commercial use
- Office action responses and opposition management
- Renewal management and deadline calendar maintenance
Typical Process
Copyright Advisory & Recordation
Quiet guidance on copyright protection for software, written works, designs, and audiovisual material in Thailand. We discuss the scope of automatic protection under the Copyright Act, the practical value of voluntary recordation, and the documentation we recommend keeping should a dispute later arise. Suitable for studios, software teams, authors, and creators preparing to license or distribute their work.
- Assessment of what your work is and what protection attaches to it
- Advice on voluntary DIP recordation and its practical benefits
- Guidance on documentation to maintain as evidence of authorship and ownership
- Licensing and distribution documentation review or drafting
Typical Process
IP Watch & Brand Monitoring Setup
A short engagement to set up periodic monitoring of new trademark filings in classes relevant to your business, with a written summary delivered each quarter. We discuss the indicators that may warrant a closer look — visual similarity, identical specifications, bad-faith filings — and the calmer responses available before formal opposition becomes necessary.
- Quarterly written summary of new filings in monitored classes
- Flagging of visually or conceptually similar marks
- Plain-English explanation of each flagged application and why it may be relevant
- Options summary — what can be done before and during the opposition window
